Yglesias Provides Examination of Latin Jazz Album Cover Art

April 29, 2005 Amherst, MA

Much has been written about the history and influence of Latin music, but little about its visual presentation. Graphic Designer and music DJ Pablo Yglesias, also known as DJ Bongohead, is changing that. He is the author of Cocinando!, an examination of the cover art of Latin jazz albums from the 1940s to the 1990s. WFCR’s Kari Njiiri has the story.
