- The bishop of Springfield’s Catholic Diocese announces the long-awaited decision on where he’ll locate the new Pope Francis High School. The new regional school (a merging of Holyoke Catholic High School and Cathedral High School) will be built on Surrey Road, where Cathedral was before the 2011 tornado ripped it apart.
