WFCR Grows to Record Level

FEBRUARY 08, 2008 – Amherst, MA – 88.5FM WFCR, NPR News and Music for Western New England, announced today that the number of people listening to the station is at an all-time record high. The station reaches an average of 187,500 people a week, according to data from Arbitron in the two-year cycle of surveys ending in 2007. That's an increase of 7.8% over the level of one year ago. Arbitron surveys listening to all radio stations, and recently released the final figures for 2007.

WFCR and WNNZ Super Tuesday Coverage

January 30, 2008, Amherst, Massachusetts – 88.5 FM WFCR, NPR News and Music for Western New England, is pleased to announce that it will be carrying exciting new, live, interactive coverage for Super Tuesday, February 5th, 2008. WFCR's coverage begins in New York, one of the Super Tuesday states, with WNYC host Brian Lehrer. He will be joined by a well-known national public radio voice, John Hockenberry, who is an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning journalist.

640AM WNNZ’S Program Changes
