New England Public Radio Welcomes Website and Brand Manager Peter Chilton

April 10, 2012

[Friday, April 6, 2012 — Amherst, MA] New England Public Radio is pleased to welcome Website and Brand Manager Peter Chilton. He brings to the station a varied history of working in magazine production, packaging, annual report design, corporate identity, and all areas in between.

Calm, cool, collected. That’s what you get when dealing with Peter, a UMass Amherst alumnus who began his design career twelve years ago at a local advertising agency.  Soon-after he launched his own one-man design studio and collected a breadth of clients including retail chains, hospitals and record labels. At the same time, he was pursuing a musical career with two successful rock bands, which allowed him to travel extensively throughout North America, Europe, Japan, and Australia.

In 2007, he began teaching graphic design at the prestigious Hallmark Institute of Photography. Through all of these transpositions, his love for great design has continually shone through in his work. Peter currently resides in Greenfield with his wife Carla, son Wes William Danger, and two dogs, Ruby and Benny. Welcome aboard, Peter!
