Frances Moore Lappé and Democracy’s Edge

Frances Moore Lapp is perhaps best known for her book, Diet for a Small Planet. It changed the way many people thought about food and how it fits into the ecology of the planet. She’s come out with a new book, Democracy’s Edge, which Lapp hopes will change the way people think about democracy. As she told WFCR’s Francesca Rheannon, Lapp says there’s a difference between what she calls “thin democracy” and “living democracy.”
