For This Democratic Delegate, Clinton Nomination About Issues First, History Second

The Republican National Convention in Cleveland concludes Thursday night with Donald Trump formally accepting the nomination for president. Last week, we interviewed Holyoke City Council President Kevin Jourdain, a Trump supporter and delegate.

Now we’ll hear from a Democratic delegate. Nicole LaChappelle of Easthampton heads to her party’s convention next week in Philadelphia. LaChappelle — a Hillary Clinton supporter — says she expects the vibe will be quite different from the first convention she attended four years ago.
