We’ve been talking to candidates in several mayoral races around the region the past few weeks. Today, we wrap up with Linda Tyer of Pittsfield. Tyer is Pittsfield’s City Clerk, and she’s challenging incumbent Dan Bianchi.
There’s a backdrop of economic unease in this campaign, illustrated recently by news that plastics company SABIC will leave town next year. New England Public Radio’s Henry Epp asked Tyer how she plans to attract new companies to pick up the slack.
