People who heat their homes with natural gas in Massachusetts could be paying less this winter than last.
Berkshire Gas customers could be paying about $22 a month less while Columbia Gas users are in line for about a $30 drop from last winter. While both companies point to an increase of supply as a factor for lower rates, Columbia Gas also points to corrections from last year’s bills. All rate changes still must be approved by state regulators.
