The trial of Ayyub Abdul Alim began this week in Springfield.
More than two years ago he was arrested and charged with illegalĀ possession of a loaded firearm. We spoke with Masslive reporter Michelle Williams about the trial ahead, and with Denise McWilliams from the New England Innocence Project about the growing trend of courtroom activism.
