This fall has been a rough one for the City of Springfield – the homicide rate has been higher than ever, with four killings over one October weekend, followed by more shootings the next two weekends. While the police department has been spending its overtime budget on extra patrols, and the city recruited the state police to help, one exasperated Springfield citizen decided to do something on his own…and he’s not even old enough to drive.
