Almost 70 years ago, residents of the towns that now lie under the Quabbin Reservoir in Massachusetts packed up and left their homes. This past weekend, in South Hadley, some of them gathered to tell stories about the flooding of their villages in order to create a source of water for the eastern part of the state. WFCR’s Francesca Rheannon spoke with Robert Wilder, a resident of the lost town of Enfield.
