Assistant English Professor, Laura Estill, of Texas A&M University discussed the importance of the manuscripts of early modern playwrights, from Shakespeare to lesser known authors.
Estill has just launched World Shakespeare Bibliography Online. This website allows viewers to see a variety of works ranging from the classic plays of Shakespeare, his lesser known works, to those of seldom discussed playwrights. With such a large archive of works, the viewer can see the many plays and playwrights that shaped the Early Modern English Era and continue to impact modern society today.
This talk was recorded on February 10th, 2016 at the UMass Amherst Renaissance Center.
