episode1_lovestruckAs we get ready for another season of Valley Voices Story Slams, we’re listening back to stories from our first season. Each episode features three stories from one of our past themes.

This week: Love Struck.

Deanne Moore shares her daunting path to motherhood as she tells the story of her son’s adoption. Kerrita Mayfield details a unique bond, only to be understood between a mother and her daughter. Finally, Sera Rivers explains how she found love, after a long period of searching. These voices were recorded back in February of 2015, at our “Love Struck” Story Slam.

If you’ve got a story to tell, we’re looking for storytellers for each Valley Voices Story Slam! Click here to learn how to audition your first line.

Music here by Broken Social Scene, Portico Quartet, and Beck.
