April 7th, 2015 – American International College hosted Dr. Mark Keroack, President & CEO of Baystate Health, as guest speaker for the Desmond Tutu Public Health Awareness Lecture Series.

Here, Dr. Keroack examines the current state of health care in America and why, despite scientific and medical advancements, many of Massachusetts most needy citizens are being left behind. He compares the American system with other advanced countries, and what the consequences are of “a system that has embedded disparities related to race, ethnicity, and socioeconomic status” by looking at Springfield.
