Maya Lin, American architectural designer and artist, was the Smith College Museum of Art 2014 Miller Lecturer. Sponsored in part by NEPR, Lin’s free public talk was attended by nearly 750 people on March 11, in Weinstein Auditorium (Wright Hall, Smith College, Northampton) and via simulcast in several overflow spaces at Smith. In a one-hour program featuring 200 slides and a video, Lin discussed her career in art and architecture to date, and then focused on a current project–one that she describes as her final memorial–a global, multi-platform work entitled,”What is Missing?” whatismissing/#/home
