Artists Take Over Fitchburg Newspaper’s Front Page

July 15, 2015

Artist Anna Schuleit Haber has taken over the front page of the Sentinel & Enterprise newspaper in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Circulation: 14,000.

Schuleit Haber is spearheading a public art project with the newspaper. Her subject is the alphabet. For the next several weeks, the paper’s front page will skip the usual headlines and feature a letter-of-the-day, with designs by artists from around the world.

The Sentinel & Enterprise editor, Charlie St. Amand, tells me the idea was pitched to him by the Fitchburg Art Museum.
